  • Name: Natalia
  • Video: Equilibrium
  • Song/Artist: Light's Theme, Domine Kira, L's Theme [from anime Death Note] / Yoshihisa Hirano and Hideki Taniuchi
  • Site Name: YouTube
  • Summary: This is a video I made for one of my university lessons. I chose to analyze the movie Equilibrium, the architecture, its society, their relation with each other and technology, being the core of the future cities. In the video I tried to incorporate all those things. It's cut in three parts, the unemotional state, the change point and the outcome of this change. A more detailed description is written on youtube. I chose deliberately not to use many effects, i felt the simplicity of the video helped the overal feeling and the change of emotions to be delivered better. I also chose music from the anime Death Note, because I believe the two shows have a lot in common in the field of 'justice' and how each character sees it and delivers it from a different POV. I tried to use a lot the internal movement of the clips in my editing. The coloring is not altered, because I wanted to give the original feeling of the movie.
